One of the best ways to encourage your psychic development, personal growth and to develop a spiritual outlook on life is to read lots of books on spiritual and psychic development. Mainly because you get lots of different opinions and advice, some of which is quite conflicting. I believe that this is a good thing because it means you cannot take everything as gospel. You need to read a lot so that you can work out what sits well for you in your own mind, and heart, and what to dismiss because it doesn’t ring true for you.

But there are so many books on spiritual and psychic development you could spend a fortune!

books on spiritual and psychic developmentBut before writing my own books I had spent many years devouring books on spiritual and psychic development. In particular those about spiritual concepts and philosophy, and many more about the psychic and paranormal side of life – and death. I still read a lot and much of what I read confirms my belief system, however I still occasionally get a challenge that really makes me think and re-assess my belief system.

Sometimes however I read something that I really do not agree with, or that I struggle to adopt in to my way of thinking. Other times I try to read an article or a book, particular on spiritual philosophy and ideas and I simply do not understand it. I find the language so convoluted that whilst I do try, I simply find it all a little too much. Maybe I’m not intelligent enough but I don’t really like to use lots of words when less will do. I like to keep things as simple as possible, life can be complicated enough.

I Had To Write My Own Books On Spiritual & Psychic Development!

On the psychic development front, there was never enough guidance or practical psychic development exercises for my liking, that was how The Spiritual & Psychic Development Workbook came to be. It’s the book that my friend and c0-author, Diane, could have done with many years ago.

I believe books that help people to evolve and develop should be accessible, (and I hope that we have achieved that with our own) so, as I quite often get asked for book recommendations, I thought that I would share with you some of the books that have helped me along the way and still remain on my bookshelf as reference guides.
