They helped me to understand and formulate my spiritual beliefs. I have listed them in the order in which they came to me.
The Power Of The Witch (Laurie Cabot)
Even if you’re not into the pagan side of this book the philosophy and science content is excellent.direct payday lenders only no teletrack
The Celestine Prophecy (James Redfield)
The only other book I know of that got strangers talking to each other (yes, honestly!) on the tube in London other than ‘The Secret’.
You can Heal Your Life (Louise Hay)
Fell off a bookshelf in a charity shop in Fulham right in front of me, and also a very interesting read.
Was really hard to find and not cheap when I discovered it. Now (I’ve just discovered due to writing this article) you can easily find it at online bookstores in various different guises. I would suggest this book is not for the beginner but nevertheless I love it so had to share.
Stalking The Wild Pendulum (Itzhak Bentov)
Interesting mix of spirituality and physics that will really get your brain going.
Amazing books. If they are what he claims, (channelled writings from god) wow! If they’re not, who cares? The philosophy and discussion it will bring about is still phenomenal! If you read no others, read the 1st of these.
The Field (Lynne McTaggart)
How cutting edge quantum theory is explaining so many eastern and esoteric teachings. Quite heavy on the science, (although I’ve known more intense writings) but fascinating. Again, may not for the beginner.
‘The Secret‘ and ‘The Power‘ by Rhonda Byrne are both useful books. The beauty of Rhonda’s books, especially ‘The Secret’ is that they were a self-publishing, word of mouth phenomenom, much like ‘The Celestine Prohecy’. ‘The Secret’ swept the globe and was hugely successful, not least because it bridged a huge gap, bringing spiritual theory to the masses. Suddenly male business colleagues (never interested in this ‘spiritual’ type of thing before) who thought I was a bit odd were telling me I should read this book. Interesting!
