Moonstone is a beautiful creamy white crystal gemstone that occasionally has tinges of yellows, blue or greens. It’s a pretty common crystal to find whether you want a tumblestone, a rough cut sample or a polished piece of jewellery. I love crystals and this absolute gem is one of my many favourites.
What Are The Qualities Of Moonstone?
This stone has a beautiful luminescence, a shimmering quality which probably results in it being named after the moon. Its characteristics and qualities are indeed linked to the moon, as well as to intuition, psychic abilities and the feminine.
Worn during the time of the full moon particularly, moonstone will encourage:
- empathy
- lucid dreaming
- intuition
- psychic abilities
- and clairvoyance.
- It also fosters a sense of calm in the wearer or in those around it.
- It assists in developing emotional intelligence
- and helps with stress
- and to stabilise the emotions.
Men Can Use Moonstone Too
Although traditionally linked with women’s energy it is a great stone for men who wish to get in touch with their feminine side, or who seek to deal with an aggressive tendency.
